John Henderson and I were high school team mates. We also both suffered with concussions while playing football collegiately and professionally. This commonality bought us back together again determined to bring awareness and to educate student -athletes and coaches about the seriousness of concussions and the ultimate sometimes rapid decline in the athletes’ health after suffering repeat trauma to the brain during sports competition.
